Russell A. Blanchard, IV is a resident of Orangeburg, South Carolina. He attended high school, here in his hometown, at Orangeburg Preparatory Schools, Inc. and continued his education by attending the University of South Carolina. Russ was a member of the Phi Kappa Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He then pursued his law degree at the University of South Carolina School of Law while working as a law clerk here at Williams & Williams. In 2007, Russ graduated from law school and was admitted to practice law in the State of South Carolina. Russ practices in the following areas of law: criminal defense, automobile accidents, workers' compensation, real estate, probate, wills, traffic violations, wrongful death, civil litigation, tort cases, and marital litigation.
Russ is married to Jennifer Blanchard, who is a financial advisor with the Commonwealth Financial Group. They have a son, Russell A. Blanchard V “Bo”, who was born in February of 2012. They are extremely active in the First Baptist Church of Orangeburg where Russ serves as a Deacon. Beginning in October of 2010, Russ and Jennifer began going on mission trips to Haiti. With a group from several churches in the Orangeburg area, they have helped install water filtration systems, and taught vacation bible school classes in orphanages, schools, and small villages. A video from their trip can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBMc7Tw-R-4. These trips sparked a passion for missions both locally and in Haiti. After returning from their second trip, Russ and Jennifer helped start a nonprofit, Catch the Vision International, which supports an orphanage in Haiti and builds churches in Peru.
